*UPDATED* Flooding - Lower B and D sections
Update: Thank you! Waters have receded but our camp must stay alert. Throughout the week, any hard rains may trigger some other flooding but thankfully, besides some trees and stone, nothing catastrophic happened. Pool Updates
Many of our members and guests got to enjoy the pool on those very hot and humid days this month. The heater is currently working and today was a perfect day of sunshine and pleasant weather. The water in the pool was 84 by the end of the day. The sun helped. Loungers, high back chairs and umbrellas have been added to the pool area this year. The baby gate has been repaired. Rules on Rules on Rules
One observation that has come up recently is that we often start with a simple, clearly defined rule. Then something happens. Then we add more language to address that situation. Then another situation comes up, and we add even more language. Before long, the rule has so many layers that it becomes harder to remember what the original purpose was. Resignations in A and C section
Over the weekend, I received resignations from two Board members, Mike Harris (Section C) and Keith Critchlow (Section A). Both cited personal reasons for their resignation. During their tenure, both served the Association well, and I wish them the best. Hopefully, they will continue to support the campground in the future.
